Is too much energy making you feel wiggly or causing you to have a difficult time focusing? Try a wall sit to engage your quadriceps and core muscles while expelling some of that extra energy.
1. Stand with your back against the wall and your feet in line with your hips.
2. Slowly lower yourself to a seated position as though you’re sitting on an imaginary chair. To protect your knees, they should be at a 90-degree angle. Don’t allow them to extend past your toes when in the seated position.
3. Remain seated for as long you can. Initially, do a few short sits of 10-15 seconds at a time and then build to a minute or longer. Challenge yourself by trying to beat your personal best each time you do it.
