A Wholistic Approach

Students who gain access to traditional educational techniques and discover how to use the tools to make themselves more efficient become confident and empowered. When students can access their strategies, they begin to use them on their own at home and school, which empowers them to feel confident about learning.

What is an Educational Therapist?

An educational therapist is a specialist who has undergone unique training in specialized techniques designed to remediate learning disabilities, improve processing, and teach compensatory skills. They train students to learn how to learn. However, some students have underlying issues that prevent them from accessing traditional methods. Nutrition, food sensitivities, mood/general happiness, emotional issues, physical activity and their ability to focus all play into a child’s capacity to learn and enjoy the process. Once wellbeing is established and/or restored, students are better able to access the learning tools and strategies needed for success in school.
